I work as a solicitor in the real estate finance team at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP from which I am outsourced to clients' offices. Currently on my eighth client secondment with HSBC UK Bank plc. Previous secondments included BlackRock, AIG, Deutsche Bank, Aviva Investors, LaSalle Investment Management, Eastdil Secured and Allianz Real Estate (Paris team). I retrained by doing the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School in Waterloo and the Legal Practice Course at BPP's campus in Holborn.
In a former life I worked as a freelance journalist specialising in technology, architecture,
design, healthcare
and motorcycles, writing for (among

UKTV. I also previously subedited the McKinsey Quarterly, wrote and edited
pamphlets and the quarterly journal at centre-left think tank Demos and
taught journalism at Richmond American International University.
I have served as a trustee for the VPS,
winning a British Medical Association award for web
design, and for the London
Parks & Gardens Trust, which produces Open Garden Squares Weekend.
